MOTOR MECHANIC
We require a Motor mechanic/Vehicle Technician to assist in maintaining and servicing
customer vehicles and our own cars.

DUTIES:
• General servicing work on cars and light commercial vehicles
• Tyre fitting
• Safety inspections and maintenance inspections on light commercial vehicles.
• General vehicle repairs including gear boxes, clutches, brakes etc
• Occasionally attending roadside and customer premises for breakdowns and onsite
servicing
• Using diagnostic equipment to problem solve
• Any other jobs as required by your supervisor within your skill set
SALARY: negotiable
EXPERIENCE:
Must haves:
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in service & repair of vehicles preferred
• Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full ‘clean’ UK driving licence
• NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology (Level 3) or a City & Guilds Level 3 equivalent
• You should have a very good knowledge of all modern vehicles
• Must have own tools and a constructive attitude and good timekeeping
• Be a team player who can operate with limited supervision
• Have a passion for keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies
• Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team
Good additions to have:
• MOT licence
• Experience of servicing and repairing electric and hybrid cars
HOURS: 40 hours a week - 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
HOLIDAYS: 28 days including Bank Holidays
