Another exciting day

Today marks a new era, we finally have our own signage.

The weather may be miserable and the skies grey, but its certainly not dull over here in Grove Terrace at Glamorgan Motors. We have a new sign!!! It covers the front of the building, its bright and vibrant. I think people will definitely notice us.

Our thanks goes to SSW Signs Services Limited for their great service as always.

Rolling back the years

For the last couple of weeks we have been wondering if we are on the set of Men from Mars and if Gene Hunt is going to rock up. A customer has brought in a Capri for us to restore back to new.

It has brought back memories for customers - it was their first car, took them on their first date and made them feel great when driving it.

It has also brought back memories for Derm (the fitter) as he has not worked on a Capri for over 20 years!

Satisfied customer

I am liking it in the garage more and more every week. This week the boys in the workshop did a fantastic job for one of our customers. After which the customer said thanks boys what can I get you for such a great job - they said nothing. He then said well do you have a wife, to which Matt replied yes - he said well that’s settled I get her something.

So this evening I am sat as the desk and in the customer walks with a pot plant for me! I have no idea what it is, but I know the colours are lovely. I will certainly be on the phone to my mum tonight describing what it looks like and getting tips on how to look after it.

THANKS BOYS AND THE CUSTOMER

Another week in the bag

As I sit here to begin writing this blog - waiting for the Bossman (aka My hubby) to come back from delivering a car; he has got caught up in the Cardiff rush hour, I am pleasantly surprised by how quiet the garage can be. There is no music, no compressor and no general humdrum - in fact all I can hear is next door’s wind chime, its very relaxing.

This week again has been a hectic one with plenty of customers needing us to service and repair their cars or just simply provide advice as to what we think. Roll on next week for more of the same. Thanks again for our customers continued support.

See you next week.

Tips Tuesday #2

Top of our list for this week is lights.

The nights are drawing in it is more important than ever to ensure that your external lights are working properly. Without properly functioning lights others cannot see you.

This link provides a useful guide to all of your lights:
